KAPO supports research project in the University of Technology in Vienna

KAPO windows and doors took part in a research project in the University of Technology in Vienna. It was a question of a project of the institute of architecture sciences with regard to planning of structural framework and engineer timber-frame construction under the leadership of Univ. Prof. DDI Wolfgang Winter and Dr. DI Klaus Kreher.

In this research project “Rating concept for wooden glass group elements“ was examined in three research years glass in connection with wood as a statical constructively approved building material.

 

KAPO was as a specialist for wood and wooden aluminium elements a valuable project partner, because in the area of component check and demands for wooden elements and glass elements in the area of production, assembly and use KAPO could introduce more than 80 years of experience.
