Friends of Architecture Meet at ‘Neue Wiener Werkstätte’

On Tuesday, 28 October 2008, KAPO held a get-together in the ‘Neue Wiener Werkstätte’ at Theresiengasse 6, 1180 Vienna. Friends of architecture and members of the network ‘Styrian Managers’ came together at this informal event in the large showroom where the complete collection of the collections Classic and Modern are on display.

Karin Polzhofer, Marketing Manager, explains: “The aim of this event was to create a platform for the exchange of ideas between friends of architecture and people who appreciate beautiful living. We are very happy that so many guests accepted our invitation."

KAPO, the Styrian family-owned company, produces windows and doors under the KAPO brand and furniture and upholstery under the name ‘Neue Wiener Werkstätte’ and co-operates very closely with architects, furniture stores and interior designers.

However, not only the highest quality furniture and upholstery were presented during the event. Guest speaker and ‘Sky runner’ Christian Stangl fascinated the participants with his accounts of how he conquered Mount Everest in one day, climbed the highest peak of each continent in record time, and how he ‘ran up’ ten 20,000 ft. mountains in only seven days.
