Hypercubus meets Graz
When in May 2011 the “Designmonat Graz” was taking place in the styrian capital, the Hypercubus stayed on the Mariahilferplatz in the inner-city of Graz. The architects Matthias Gumhalter and Christian Reschreiter from wg3 architects offered interested parties the possibility to gain an insight of the mobile apartment which they created.
Designed out of sloped walls and the minimally space to live, the cube is an innovative and mobile living concept, which prospectively can be utilized in tourist-areas.
The basic idea of the wg3 architects was to create an “entire accommodation unit” with the smallest possible place to live, with sparse material and which can be even transported.
Amazing: The inhabitable cube offers space in three tiers: kitchen and bath at the ground floor, living room in the first and a bedroom in the second one.
KAPO supports this innovative idea with future on the one hand with know-how in section of windows and doors as well as with the equipment of the Hypercubus with glass- and door-elements.
