The Neue Wiener Werkstätte at Linz09

In the Capital of Culture 2009, Linz, young designers and architects are implementing the Pixel Hotel Project. The Pixel Hotel offers comfortable rooms, so-called Pixels, throughout the town, thereby converting the whole of Linz into a hotel.

Neue Wiener Werkstätte supports this project with its design objects FX10 and Table-Chair. These extraordinary pieces of furniture were developed by the designer Thiomas Feichtner, who comes from Linz. This young, creative artist, with his unconventional approach, counts amongst the hotshots of the national design scene.

For Linz09, he offered his involvement in the Pixel Hotel Project and designed the Pixel Hirschgasse 11 with products of Neue Wiener Werkstätte – a totally exceptional lodging for all who plan a stay in Linz!
