Book opening of Designer Thomas Feichtner

Neue Wiener Werkstaette congratulates Thomas Feichtner to his recently published book „Edge to Edge“. A good cooperation has connected the company to the designer from Linz for several years. Part of the Neue Wiener Werkstaette collection are e.g. the loungechair FX10 and the hybrid furniture tablechair by Thomas Feichtner. These two products and their histories of origin are among other things impressively documented in the book.

The monograph describes detailed the experimental working skills of Thomas Feichtner by means of sketches, proto models and prototypes.

After considerable achievements in indutrial design in the last years Thomas Feichtner called the attention again with his exceptional design approach.

His latest working in the area of furniture and object design positions intself between industry and manufactory, between repetition part and unique.  

The book „Edge to Edge“ is published by Peter Noever in the Birkhäuser publishing house, Basel.
